The most commonly consumed tea in the U.S.A. Black tea is more
oxidized than oolong, green or white teas, all of which come from the
Camellia sinensis plant. It is generally stronger in flavor, and
although it is higher in caffeine than other teas, it still contains less
than 1/2 as much as the same size cup of coffee. Great on ice or hot
with milk, sugar, honey or plain. Research indicates that drinking
black tea can aid in the prevention of cardiovascular disease and stroke.
ALL LOOSE TEAS ARE WEIGHED BY THE OUNCE THEN PLACED IN A ZIP TOP BAGGY, RATHER THAN A TIN. THIS HELPS TO KEEP THE SHIPPING COSTS DOWN FOR OUR CUSTOMERS. ENJOY!
